“ One of my main goals is to see souls saved.” P astor Jeanette Timberlake was saved at the age of 17. Called to the ministry in 1990, she became the Pastor of God’s Grace Church after the death of her husband and our founder, Dist. Elder Detmer Timberlake in August of 1998.She is the mother of 9 children and the adopted mother of many within the church. Pastor Timberlake considers herself to be a warrior of prayer and is deeply rooted in the Word of God. Besides devoting her life to the Lord, she has been involved in many business ventures, which include practicing real estate in the city of Gary. Hating to see even one soul go hungry in past years, she opened a food pantry that gave groceries to underprivileged people. Even to this day, the church offers free dinner after every Sunday morning service. Her vision is clear, to help the youth of today find a desire for a better life through God and education.
